Introduction

TJB 1-4 comprises 2 x 661 MW (Unit 1&2) and 2 x 660 MW (Unit 3&4) coal fired units, located on the northern coastline of Java Island at the Muria Peninsula, within Tubanan Village, Kembang District. The plant is situated approximately 83 km northeast of Semarang and 25 km north of Jepara, Central Java.

TJB 1-4 are currently generating into the PLN Java, Madura, Bali transmission system. Coal is supplied from Kalimantan and the Limestone required for FGD is sourced from Central Java.

Business Description CJP owns TJB 1-4 and leases the facility to PT PLN (Persero) under a long-term finance lease structure, while overseeing operational and fuel activities through an Operating Committee framework.
